Go To Hell: 101

Hi! It's been a wild 10 days since my last post to this obscure slice of cyberspace, my rant away from home: my SO secured a top New York agent for his second book, a gal pal sold her first mystery novel to a prestigious New York publisher in a nice two-book deal, and I've been reading and chortling all week about a gay hooker who has been running 'round the White House while showing his for-hire cock all over the Internets. In RL I'm surrounded by fiction writers. So, too, according to Frank Rich, are the American people, only they're not paid for their made-up reality. They just have to live it. Suckers.

...Which makes me think of Hell, and the Vatican university's new Satanism classes. The high church is worried, thinks the Devil Himself is among us, and people, young people in particular, need to be educated about His existence because He doesn't always wear red tights and carry a pitchfork. He's a sly one, that fiery fucker. Sometimes he wears a suit and tie. The church denounces the devil as a "cosmic liar and murderer." Signs of possession include speaking in unknown tongues. Sound like anyone You know?

Yeah. I thought so too.

Think the USA could get a group discount on tuition?

How Do You Say....

Show us your tits! in Arabic?
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - U.S. military police threw a mudwrestling party at a prison camp in Iraq and a woman who took part has been found guilty of indecent exposure and demoted, the U.S. military said Monday.

At least three female guards stripped to their underwear and wrestled each other in a paddling pool full of mud in the grounds of Camp Bucca, the biggest U.S. camp for detainees in Iraq, Lt. Col. Barry Johnson said.

God, Guns, and Bazoombas. Who knew?

Killing's A Hoot!

According to a JarHead General, killing people is fun.
The comment, made by Lt. Gen. James Mattis, came in reference to fighting insurgents in Iraq. He went on to say, "Actually, its a lot of fun to fight. You know, it's a hell of a hoot. I like brawling."

"You go into Afghanistan, you got guys who slap women around for 5 years because they didn't wear a veil," Mattis continued. "You know, guys like that ain't got no manhood left anyway. So it's a hell of a lot of fun to shoot them."

About 200 people gathered for the discussion, held at the San Diego Convention Center. While many military members laughed at the comments, a military expert interviewed by NBC 7/39 called the comments "flippant."

Now there's an understatement. Leaving aside the "ain't got no" idiot-speak, his comments are to be considered flippant? Yeah. Okay. If you're deranged.
