Bush-League

So in the White House's effort to discredit Joe Wilson, Bush was mad at Karl -- not for engaging in treasonous acts, Dear Reader, but for handling ...
...it in a ham-handed and bush-league way."

In Bushworld, it's okay to commit a crime, but it's not okay to get caught.

Up is down, black is white, war is peace...

The 11th Commandment: don't get caught.

There were numerous comments to that effect in the wake of Watergate, saying Nixon's real problem was just that he got caught. The ethics part, well, "...that was secondary, all politicians are crooks & liars, right?"

Springsteen talked about it; others, too. I forget. But I'm sure that's the biggest hope for the future among Repub PNAC neocon Rovewellians -- that people will watch for a bit, yawn, and go back to sleep.

And even if they don't, there's always Diebold.

We've got SO MUCH WORK to do!
