"S" Is For Secret

Hey there Team Bush apologists, how's the crow taste?

Valarie Plame Wilson was covert. Her identity was a SECRET with a capital S and those responsible for leaking her name and employer could go to prison for 10 years.

Let the indictments begin!

I'm thinking Fitz will wait till he's got everything he can get on whoever he's got it (or something like that) before he starts passing out indictments.

The question is who are they going to hang out to dry. I think Rove is going to stick to the, "they didn't tell me" line. The only way they are going to get Rove is if someone folds and I just don't see that happening.

They will probably hang Powell out to dry or Ari/Scotty. As smart as Rove is they probably have a designated dupe in the bunch.

But if someone does fold, it will be one the best days of my life. Can you say boo-yahhhh motha-fuckas ??

Jeff, just checked out your bio, I am impressed. I was stationed on the USS Saipan in Norfolk, hated it, but loved VA Beach.

I think if they kick Powell again, this time, he might kick back. He knows where the bodies are buried.

I'm thinking Ari Fleischer will be the fall guy; he was a 'mouth piece' after all.

Since Rove wasn't on the trip to Africa with the memo, I think you're probably right, Rove will play the 'see no evil' card.

But --

We'll have to wait and witing IS the hardest part ;-)

Yes, Jeff's bio is impressive, isn't it? We're lucky to have him in the reality-based community, that's for sure.

Thanks for the nice words gang, but in all honesty, my "achievements" are relatively modest. No phi beta kappa from Harvard, no arguing cases with the Supreme Court, no medals for heroism. Was there, did that is about all I can really claim.

Scott, I've got a feeling they're not going to have a choice on who to hang out to dry--I think Fitzgerald's going to decide who hangs. (Might be cockeyed optimism on my part, believing in the justice system and all that.)

I think that if anyone thinks he or she might be looking down the gun barrell of a treason conviction, he or she may start talking to Fitz.

And Cap, a the end of the day, Powell will kick back. And kick back hard.

But, that's just my guess.

Jeff
