Frank Rich is one of the finest journalists in the print media and he is, and has been, speaking truth to power regarding the disgraceful conduct of the Bush regime regarding Joe Wilson and his wife.

Hopefully Fitzgerald will bring these wannabe fascist thugs to justice.

Of course we could see a replay of Nixon having Robert Bork fire Archibal Cox after Elliot Richardson and William Ruckleshaus resigned rather than do the dirty deed.

Cox's statement back then is even more appropriate now:

"Whether ours shall continue to be a government of laws and not of men is now for Congress and ultimately the American people."

Oh yes, that would make for great theater! Fire the special prosecuter a al Watergate. I wonder... would we villagers storm the castle then? I got my pitchfork.

"Tin soldiers and Nixon's coming
We're finally on our own
All summer I hear the drumming
4 Dead in Ohio"

They can run, but they can't hide :-)
