Look who's stumping for Bush...

Heil to the Chief Posted by Hello

Yes, that's Joe Scarborough, of MSNBC, clapping and smiling while Herr Leader manages a simple, declaritive "Howdy."

Media Views wants to know:
Does MSNBC think it's OK for its hosts to be campaigning for presidential candidates? If so, where is the pro-Kerry host on MSNBC's schedule that would balance out Scarborough's partisanship?

Remember San Francisco Chronicle columnist Henry Norr? Sure, you remember Henry; he was arrested while taking part in an anti-war rally in April 2003. The next day his column was pulled. Then he was suspended for a month. Then fired.

Two months after Mr. Norr got the axe, MSNBC cancelled Phil Donahue’s show.
A leaked internal memo claimed that Donahue would present “a difficult public face for NBC in a time of war. He seems to delight in presenting guests who are anti-war, anti-Bush and skeptical of the administration’s motives.”

In summary: Anti-Bush gets you fired. Pro-Bush keeps you hired.
